Every mother hopes to provide opportunities for her children's growth, but for a woman like Sandra Frankki, who is living with Huntington's disease, being there for her family becomes an entirely new challenge. But that doesn't mean Sandra hasn't risen to the task. Here at the Good Samaritan Society - Specialty Care Community (SCC), we've had the pleasure of getting to know all of Sandra's family, and it's clear Sandra's positive attitude and support has been an encouraging influence on her husband Kevin and their three children, Kassandra, Alexander, and Jonathan. Together, they were awarded the 2011 HDSA Family Leadership Award, and they've been an inspiration to us all at SCC. We are all proud of what Sandra and her family have achieved and we are honored to have the chance to watch their family grow and overcome the challenges of Huntington's disease together.
